Dr Setareh completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne in 2010 and then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry from Griffith University in 2015. Before becoming a dentist, she spent four years as an Oral Health Therapist in private practice, focusing on preventive care, periodontal treatments, and paediatric dentistry. Following her graduation, Dr Setareh worked at Goulburn Valley Health Hospital in Shepparton for two years before returning to Melbourne. She now serves as the Head of Unit at the Dental Teaching Clinic at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, where she leads and mentors dental students. She has also worked extensively in the Primary Care Unit, treating dental emergencies and trauma cases. Dr Setareh is known for her gentle touch and calming nature, especially when working with anxious patients. She takes the time to listen and ensures that every patient feels at ease throughout their treatment. Committed to providing personalised, comprehensive care, she believes that good oral health is integral to overall well-being and works closely with her patients to create treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. In addition to general dentistry, Dr Setareh is also qualified to administer muscle relaxant injectables.
