Dr. Kevin Lathangue graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2004 with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD). Since then, he has developed innovative strategies to enhance patient care and team collaboration within Blue Ocean Dental Group. Working closely with experienced professionals such as Mr. Mark O’Neill, a certified CEREC Technician and cosmetic expert, Dr. Lathangue continues to advance restorative and cosmetic dentistry within the practice. Dr. Lathangue performs various types of minor oral surgery, including wisdom tooth removal and implant placement. He is an avid learner who has completed numerous continuing education courses, including a yearlong implant course taught by Dr. Sascha Jovanovic in Santa Monica, CA, and advanced training through the renowned Kois Center. When Dr. Lathangue is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his three children—Kasey, Travis, and Kaya. He is also a dedicated weight trainer who once held a junior world record as well as three Canadian records and continues to train and compete in bodybuilding competitions.
