Peter is a University of Otago graduate where he completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Prior to joining the team at youDENTAL he was a Dental House Surgeon at Northland District Health Board where he enjoyed a varied role, including oral surgery, paediatric dentistry, managing medically compromised patients and maxillofacial trauma injuries. Peter is a team-player with a warm and friendly disposition. He pays careful attention to every patient’s needs and believes that minimal pain should be the benchmark at all times. As a classically trained musician, attention to detail is a strong suit and something his patients appreciate. When not at work, Peter loves playing the cello, racquet sports and keeping fit. Alongside dentistry, he studied music performance at university and was a member of the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra and Cellists of Otago. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
