William obtained his initial dental degree from Dundee University (1985). After graduating he worked for a number of years in both the NHS and private sectors of general dental practice in the UK. Returning to dental academia in the late nineties William studied advanced restorative dentistry for two years at Glasgow University, graduating with an MSc (2001). A further two years postgraduate training followed at the Eastman Dental Institute in London where he gained an MClinDent in Endodontology (2003). William has worked exclusively as a referral clinician with practice limited to Endodontics for more than ten years in London and now in Dorking. He enjoys the challenge of working in high-quality, specialist orientated practices such as Longborough. William spent a number of years living in France and somehow squeezed in a BA, MA and PHD in French History. Formerly a keen footballer and rock climber he now prefers the more sedate pleasures of baking and jigsaws.
