Dr Ellie Baxter

I qualified from Leeds Dental School, and spent a couple of years in practice and hospital dentistry in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery department treating head and neck trauma, cancer and minor oral surgery such as difficult extractions or wisdom teeth. It was here I developed my passion for Oral surgery and Implant dentistry. I enjoyed getting to know patients and watching families grow too much to stay in hospital dentistry, so I moved into practice full time alongside domiciliary dentistry caring for elderly or unwell patients in a home setting. I have always worked in Yorkshire, and especially love working in Wetherby as the patients are so lovely. I may be biased though as we live very close by in Boston Spa! Over the years I have completed many further qualifications including multiple certificates in Implant and Restorative Dentistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry. My main passion is Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry and caring for patients often at their most vulnerable. It makes me so happy to give patients their smile back and I am fortunate enough to do this daily at Ashby.
