Andrea is a specialist dentist in Special Care Dentistry. She studied dentistry in the United States and graduated in 1996 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa. She worked as a hospital dentist in New York before moving to London in 1997. After attaining a Master’s Degree in Sedation and Special Care Dentistry from the Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ Dental Institute, Andrea embarked on a 17-year career as a Senior Dental Officer in the Community Dental Services providing dental treatment under sedation to children and adults with complex special care needs. Andrea now works as a sedation dentist in general practice. Her calm and empathetic approach to patient care has nurtured her love and passion for the delivery of high quality, patient-centred dental care to all her patients. Andrea is an avid runner and actively trains for long-distance events.
