Craig graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004 and after a brief spell working in the hospitals returned to general dental practice. He has now worked at Maple Dental for over 15 years. Craig was awarded a master’s degree in Prosthodontics (fixing and replacement of broken or missing teeth) in 2010 and taught on the programme for the following 7 years. Although he no longer teaches students, he is still involved in education as a lecturer for NHS England running courses on the restoration of broken and missing teeth for qualified dentists across the Northwest. Craig’s main area of interest is replacement and restoration of worn, broken or missing teeth utilising dental implants and different treatment modalities on natural teeth to give patients more options for how to solve their dental problems. Craig regularly treats patients with intravenous sedation to help with patients’ anxiety levels either due to nervousness with dental treatment or due to the nature of the procedure. In his spare time, Craig spends as much time as possible with his wife and three young boys. His hobbies include rugby, road cycling and walking.
