Mr Mark McAfee

His main passion is in helping patients restore their smile and confidence. He performs all aspects of Restorative, Cosmetic and Implant based treatments, and recently became an Invisalign provider. Mark believes in a patient centred approach, giving time and understanding to focusing on your desired outcome. He works in a gentle and compassionate way, to ensure a pain free experience with excellent quality outcomes. Originally from Ireland, Mark qualified as a dental surgeon from ‘Queen’s University Belfast’ in 2003 with a distinction in the Practice of Dentistry. He has completed further post graduate studies and achieved ‘The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng)’ in 2010. In 2013 he began his postgraduate training in surgical Implant dentistry completing an 18-month Clinical certificate in Implantology at the University of Sheffield. During his varied career he has worked as dentist in Australia, undergraduate teacher at the University of Manchester, a post-graduate examiner for the Royal College of surgeons and various roles as an NHS and Private Clinical dentist. Mark is married with 2 children and lives locally. He loves nothing better than being active outdoors, running, cycling and relaxing with friends and family.
