Tom joined the practice when Dr. Grime relocated to the new site in the Victoria Building in 2013. This coincided with Tom moving back to the area with his wife, Hilary, prior to settling down and starting their family. Living in Whitley Bay, they have two children, Ted and Harriet. As a family, they spend a lot of time getting out into the countryside walking and enjoying time at their static caravan in Yorkshire. Tom, and his son Ted, are keen Nottingham Forest fans and try to get to as many matches as possible throughout the season. Professionally, Tom enjoys all aspects of general practice and is proud to have gained his masters degree in primary care dentistry which has elevated the standard of treatment he provides.
