Dr Payvand Menhadji

Dr Payvand has trained as a specialist in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the prestigious Guys Hospital in London Bridge. She spends 3 days a week at the hospital treating complex periodontal cases, non-surgically and surgically, referred in by dentists in the London area. Payvand thoroughly enjoys and partakes in periodontal research. She has been published in various renowned scientific journals and has presented work nationally and internationally. Journals including the British Dental Journal and Dental Update. Payvand is on the Early Careers Group committee for the British Society of Periodontology and part of the ‘Next Generation’ committee for the Association of Dental Implantology. As a result of this, Payvand ensures that her patients receive the most advanced and evidence-based care. Payvand’s particular research interest is Minimally Invasive Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy (MINST) and Minimally Invasive Surgical Periodontal Therapy (MIST) procedures. Payvand provides an ethical and holistic approach to her patients’ dental care. Biology, Aesthetics and Function are her clinical priorities and she makes sure to alleviate any anxiety patients may have regarding dental treatment. Payvand is happy to accept any referrals regarding patients with Periodontitis (gum disease), recession cases (mucogingival treatment), aesthetic and functional crown lengthening and treatment for Peri-Implantitis. In her spare time, Payvand runs on a regular basis and enjoys eating out in all the new spots around London!
