Dr Diogo Ribeiro

Diogo graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2010. After two years of practicing near his hometown, he moved to the UK in 2013 and began working as a general dentist across mixed NHS and private practices. He initially settled in the small lovely town of Builth Wells, Wales, before relocating to Nottingham in 2016, where he has been practicing ever since. Known for his approachable manner and attention to detail, Diogo is passionate about building trust with his patients and achieving long-lasting results through thoughtful, evidence-based treatment. He regularly invests his time in postgraduate training, with a particular interest in root canal treatments (endodontics). His clinical work is guided by the principles of minimally invasive and biomimetic dentistry, where biology, mechanics, function, and conservation of tooth structure are key. Outside of work, Diogo enjoys travelling and spending quality time with family and friends. He has a strong connection to the outdoors and especially enjoys activities that involve sun, sand, and sea.
