Sherif qualified as a dentist in 2005 from Cairo, Egypt. In 2007, he completed his examinations and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Sherif was awarded an international research scholar position at the University of Texas, Houston, USA and co-authored a textbook about the usage of Cone Beam CT in the head and neck. Sherif also has several publications in peer reviewed journals. Furthermore, he has gained extensive experience in oral surgery working in different hospitals and currently holds a part-time position as a specialty doctor in oral surgery at a university hospital where he mentors and teaches junior dentists. Sherif has an interest in aesthetic dentistry and dental implants. He gained a clinical Masters degree in dental implants from the University of Manchester. In addition, he completed a post-graduate certificate in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and he is also an active member of the ITI (international team of implantology) and the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Sherif is an experienced implant surgeon providing dental implants to replace missing teeth from single tooth to more complex full mouth rehabilitation along with bone and soft tissue grafting. He enjoys treating patients and enhancing their smiles. He is very good at comforting anxious patients and providing them with a pleasant dental experience. Outside of work, Sherif enjoys spending time with his family, swimming and photography. He also enjoys travelling and exploring new places and learning about other cultures.
