Dr George Margaritis

George completed his Dental training in Aristotle University, Thessaloniki and then spent a year as a Dental Officer in the Greek army before moving the UK in 2004. During the last 20 years, George has heavily invested in his knowledge and skills and has achieved several postgraduate awards. He has completed a certificate in Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry, a Certificate in Implantology, a Diploma in Endodontics from the Queen Mary University and a Master of Science in Periodontology with Distinction and Highest Achievement Award from the University of Plymouth. He was mentored for more than 10 years by the first Expert in Implantology in the UK, Dr Phil Bennett and has held an Honorary Clinical Assistant position with the Maxillofacial Department in Royal Bournemouth Hospital for a number of years. He is a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology and also of the College of General Dentistry UK. He was recently made an Honorary Member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK, an honour reserved for members with exceptional service to the profession. George brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team at Waterside and his kind and gentle approach to treatment is an absolute hit with our patients.
