Dr Andrew Wargo

Dr. Wargo is a skilled clinician and surgeon with decades of experience. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois with a Biology degree, on a 4-year federal ROTC scholarship. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Upon graduation, he was commissioned into the Army Dental Corps. He graduated from the Oral Surgery Residency Training Program at Tripler Army Medical Center. He received further training in Cleft Lip and Palate surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Wargo then spent 11 years training future Army oral surgeons until he retired from the military as a Colonel. He is very excited to be a part of the Riverfront Dental Care team again. Dr. Wargo is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the South Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Wargo is a devoted husband and father and enjoys spending time with his wife, Cordie, and their five children. They live in Harlem, GA. Dr. Wargo also enjoys Bible study, golf, cooking out, and supporting the Atlanta sports teams.
