Dr Dhaval Thakkar

Dr. Thakkar received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Chicago, Illinois in 2005. He then moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his senior year of dental school, he was honoured to serve the veterans at the VA hospital in Togus, Maine. He graduated from dental school in 2009 and had an opportunity to help the underserved population in the south of Chicago for two years. He finally decided to move to Texas in 2011 because he fell in love with the warm weather and warm-hearted people of Texas. Dr. Thakkar has been practising dentistry for over seven years and is committed to keeping up with the latest advances in modern dentistry. He completes many times the required number of continuing education hours every year. He genuinely believes every patient should be treated as one of his family members. He is passionate about dentistry and loves helping his patients improve their smiles and quality of life. Dr. Thakkar is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and son, Yash when he is away from doing dentistry.
