Dr H. David Nelams,

Dr. H. David Nelams has lived in Southeast Texas all his life. After attending Lamar University, he attended the University of Texas Dental School of dentistry at Houston. He received his DDS in 1993 and has been practicing in Lumberton since 1994. Since graduation, Dr. Nelams has kept up with the latest that dentistry has to offer through continuing education. He understands that constantly being a student of dentistry is the way to offer his patients the very best care. He considers dentistry a wonderful way to improve the lives of others and is especially happy when he can relieve the pain of a patient. He also enjoys helping patients overcome their fear of going to the dentist, which he accomplishes by taking extra time to listen to their concerns and to explain all aspects of their treatment. Through continuing education, Dr. Nelams has completed courses in implant dentistry, orthodontics, and smile design using veneers, endodontics, sedation dentistry, and dental sleep medicine. He has had orthodontics as a part of his practice for more than 20 years. He enjoys seeing smiles and lives change through orthodontic care such as Invisalign. Dr. Nelams is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Sabine District Dental Society, and the American Orthodontic Society.
