Dr. Mary DuBois is a graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She then went on for a General Practice Residency at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics working with very medically complex patients, as well as cancer patients. Before dental school, Dr. DuBois found her love for dentistry as a dental hygienist, graduating with her associate’s in applied science degree in dental hygiene in 2010. Soon after, while teaching at a dental hygiene program and working in a clinical setting, she went on to finish her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science. Dr. DuBois joined the Army National Guard in 2018 and still enjoys the rewarding experience of serving our country one weekend a month and two weeks a year as a dentist. She is passionate about all aspects of oral health, and her specialty is patient comfort. She is often told that her anesthetic technique is better than patients have ever experienced. She has a calming demeanor, yet is witty and funny. Originally from Wisconsin, she is thoroughly enjoying the southeast Texas winters and southern culture.
