Dr. Coffey graduated with a degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Flint before receiving his dental degree from the University of Michigan. He continued his dental training by completing a 1-year General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affair Hospital. His residency gave him the opportunity to provide dental treatment to medically complex patients, as well as provide care to special needs patients in the operating room.
