Dr. Tamar Shiller grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and moved to New York City to pursue her career in dentistry. She graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, completed one year of general practice residency, and an additional year as a chief resident at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. She won the Vincent Silane Award for Resident of the Year and the Excellence in Prosthodontics Award during her residency. Over the course of her training, she has gained skills in restorative dentistry, emergency care, full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic procedures, extractions, bone grafting, laser surgery, root canal treatment, dermal fillers, and dental implants. As a dentist, her ultimate goal is to provide exceptional, personalised care to her patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. She is dedicated to learning the latest advancements in dentistry and continuously improving her skills. It is her privilege and honour to serve the dental needs of her patients and contribute to their overall health and happiness. Outside of dentistry, she has a few passions that bring balance to her life including art, cooking, staying active, and traveling.
