Dr. Wang was born and raised outside of Houston, in Sugarland, Texas. Growing up, Dr. Wang always loved crafts, including origami, painting, and sewing. One of her favorite art projects was a volunteer project called "Heart Hugs"; sewing heart-shaped pillows for pediatric oncology patients. Her love of working with her hands, artistry, and craftsmanship made her gravitate to the field of dentistry. To Dr. Wang, dentistry is the perfect marriage of art and medicine. Dr. Wang has been practicing in Austin since she completed her clinical residency. She enjoys practicing several areas of dentistry but she has a particular fondness for surgeries, such as implants and cosmetic dentistry. Her primary goal as a dentist is to educate her patients in the hopes that they won't really need her services due to their stellar oral hygiene habits. Dr. Wang enjoys traveling but hasn't done much recently since welcoming her first child. She is delighted by being a new mom. While she can no longer easily travel, Dr. Wang and her husband treasure introducing their baby to as much new cuisine as possible. They cannot wait until old enough that they can show him the expansive world of Lego building and video gaming.
