A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Dr. Abdul-Samad was raised between St. Thomas and Ramallah, Palestine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with summa cum laude honors from the University of the Virgin Islands before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Abdul-Samad is a general dentist passionate about providing compassionate care guided by the golden rule. He is fluent in English and Arabic and has an elementary understanding of Spanish. He is skilled in restorative care, simple extractions, exams, and crown and bridge procedures, and he is expanding his expertise in surgical extractions, endodontics, and implant dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Abdul-Samad enjoys swimming, hiking, weightlifting, reading, and spending time with friends and family. As the second oldest of five siblings, he values connection, leadership, and service in both his personal and professional life.
