Dr. Faruk is a native of Northern Virginia. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. After graduating from dental school, he went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Bolling AFB in D.C.; where he completed his AEGD. From there he transferred to McGuire AFB in New Jersey, where he met his wife; and finally to Incirlik AB in Turkey. He then left active duty and practiced in New York City. After spending two years in the big city, and a total of six years away from Virginia, he decided to return to the state he loves to settle down. Dr. Faruk’s focus in dentistry is on patient-centered care, with an emphasis on patient education. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, being active, and enjoying the culture of the city.
