Raised in rural Suffolk County, Long Island, I received my undergraduate degree at Creighton University, a small Jesuit university in the Midwest. I then became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, and finally chose a world-class dental center for professional school, New York University College of Dentistry. These early experiences have done much to form my professional balance. There is, however, no substitute for being in practice over 55 years and still enjoying the art and science of dentistry. During these many years, I’ve developed a personal relationship with a great many of my patients and make it a priority to get to know the needs of each individual. My “family of patients” is truly like an extended family and I am grateful for the privilege of caring for and knowing them. By working with an outstanding staff, I have been able to provide quality dental health care in a stress-free environment. Patients also know they are welcome to telephone me at home if they have a question or concern about their dental health. I enjoy having been a small-town dentist who treated patients conservatively and with a sincere interest in each person’s well-being. As a former police officer, I have an interest in Dental Forensics, and provide assistance to the State Police of NY and CT, as well as local police agencies. Antique cars and ping-pong are at the forefront of my hobby interests. Our blended family of 10 children, 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, make life an ongoing delight! Although mostly retired at this time, I do manage to “stop” in for a daily visit and try to stay involved in the office.
