Dr. Shon Johnson received his BS of psychology from Wayne State University and his DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He has additional training in dental implants, Invisalign (clear aligner braces) and Botox/Dermal Fillers (esthetics). His main interests include dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, basic/restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Johnson enjoys dentistry because he has the greatest desire to improve the overall health and well-being for patients that he serves. Establishing the best plan of action as a team, and helping others execute that plan, is what he is most interested in. Dr. Johnson comes from a family that has a deep love for music and sports. He loves going to concerts and live musical performances. He even makes his own music (“Shon jay” on streaming services). He has a sarcastic wit and is also a lifelong Detroit Lions Fan! He also volunteers as a football coach for his former high school, Birmingham Groves High School.
