Dr Joshua Kim

Dr. Joshua Kim began his pursuit of dentistry in high school when he began working for his mother, Dr. Sook Kim at her office. Once he completed high school he entered Southern Adventist University where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology in 2009. Upon graduating he lived in Pucallpa, Peru from June 2009 to May 2010 as a missionary. While in Peru he was trained how to give dental injections and teeth extraction techniques. He spent the majority of his year in Peru traveling to different parts of the Amazonian jungle to help those who did not have access to dental treatment. While in Peru, he realized and confirmed his calling to dentistry and applied and was accepted into Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, in Loma Linda, CA. After graduating from Loma Linda University in 2014, he began working in Harrisburg, PA as an associate dentist where he was able to provide comprehensive dental care to the community. In January of 2016, he and his wife decided to move to Atlanta to move closer to their family to raise their son, Julien, who was born in March of 2016. At the beginning of June 2016 he and his mother, Dr. Sook Kim, partnered up to start a new dental office, Duluth Dental and Dentures, to continue their pursuit of providing personal and comprehensive care to those in need. Dr. Joshua Kim's favorite part of dentistry is knowing and caring for his patients of all ages. He takes pride in making sure that each and every dental appointment is the best experience possible. He attends continuing education courses to be as up to date on the latest technology and methods in dentistry to better serve his patients.
