Dr. Grillo studied at Albion College in Michigan where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He completed his dental school training at the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1992. He then completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Luke’s Metro Hospital in Cleveland Ohio. From 1994-1996, Dr. Grillo completed a specialty post graduate program in advanced prosthodontics at the West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Medical Center and the University of California Los Angeles, School of Dentistry. He also earned a certificate in the sub specialty of Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation in 1997 at UCLA. Dr. Grillo served on the teaching staff at UCLA and as a faculty member in both the Removable Prosthodontics and the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Departments. He has also been affiliated as a faculty member and a consultant for the Graduate Prosthodontics department at the West Los Angeles VA. Dr. Grillo is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has lectured at numerous dental conferences for government and private organizations.
