Dr Christina Skelton

Her passion for dentistry began early in her childhood as Dr. Skelton would watch her father work as a master ceramist. Being so close to her father’s work, she met amazing dentists and began to see them perform wonderful transformations of people’s smiles. Along with an early positive perspective of dentists, Dr. Skelton also loved studying sciences which propelled her to graduate from Andrews University with a Bachelor in Biology. She then continued on to earn her DDS from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Another force that drove Dr. Skelton’s career forward was her desire for human interaction and effective communication. She believes that a large portion of dentistry is being able to communicate freely with patients in a way that truly allows them to understand the complexities of dental work and oral health. Along with effective communication and an innate desire to help others, Dr. Skelton prides herself on her ability to continually strive for the absolute best, not only for herself and her patients, but also for the study of dentistry. Although she currently resides in Folsom, CA, Dr. Skelton has lived in several cities throughout the United States. She has always enjoyed traveling, exploring new towns, and going on guided walks. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two daughters, and her two dogs.
