Dr. Elizabeth Appleby Huggins was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science from Clemson University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Health Science and a minor in Spanish. After Clemson, she attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school, Dr. Elizabeth had the opportunity to live and practice in both Florida and Colorado before returning home to South Carolina. She is forever grateful to the United States Air Force for the journey it provided for her and her family. She was able to work in a number of private dental practices across the country with amazing mentors and dental teams. Through this experience, she gained invaluable clinical knowledge as well as best practices for running a dental office. Dr. Elizabeth truly enjoys treating patients of all ages, including little ones! She has treated children throughout her dental career and is passionate about teaching them good dental habits early in life. Dr. Elizabeth has also been on several dental mission trips and desires to use her dental skills to serve those in need both locally and abroad. She has traveled to Nicaragua, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. When not at the dental office, you will find Dr. Elizabeth hanging out with her family either at home or around town. She and her husband have three kids and love going on family hikes or bike rides on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. They love Greenville and feel privileged to live in such a beautiful city. I strive to provide compassionate and personalized care for my patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued during every visit.
