Dr Zack Huggins

Dr. Zack Huggins was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina. Following graduation, he started dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Zack excelled in the classroom and the clinic and received the award for Best Clinician at graduation. While in dental school, he received the Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Air Force. Upon graduation in 2015, Dr. Zack was accepted to a 1 year Advanced General Dentistry residency at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. There, he graduated with exceptional marks for clinical skills and efficiency. He was chosen to assist in the building and launching the Air Force’s newest dental clinic, located at Buckley Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. For the next 3 years, Dr. Zack launched the Buckley Dental Clinic and served active duty military from all branches of the United States as well as International Armed Forces. He was quoted by his commanding officer as an “Innovative Pace-setter” and a “Brilliant Clinician/Natural Leader”. In June 2019, Dr. Zack separated from the Air Force and moved back to SC with his family to open Huggins Dental. He is passionate about serving the dental needs of the people of the upstate. I am committed to using the best technology and providing the most comfortable and consistent dental experience to my patients. Creating lasting relationships with my patients is one of my favorite parts of dentistry.
