Dr. Andrew Joseph Migani, or Dr. AJ for short, says his favorite thing about being a dentist is the opportunity to help people smile confidently and without pain. Dr. AJ completed his undergraduate studies in business and finance at the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, before being convinced by his uncle to pursue a career as a dentist. He went on to complete a post baccalaureate pre-med program, before earning his doctor of dental medicine degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington. In dental school, Dr. AJ participated in several dental service trips including those to the Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, and Chile. These service trips provided unique experiences delivering dental care in remote locations to underserved populations. At graduation, Dr. AJ was the recipient of the Olmstead Prize in Geriatric Dentistry. Since dental school Dr. AJ has worked in private practices in the New Haven and Glastonbury areas before joining Fantarella Dental Group. Originally from Woodbridge, Dr. AJ enjoys time with family and friends. He is an avid cyclist and cycled cross country from San Fracisco, California back to New Haven, Connecticut during the summer of 2024. In the winter, he enjoys snowboarding and was an instructor for a number of years at OKEMO Mountain Resort, in Vermont. He is also an Eagle Scout, scouting’s highest honor, and is an inducted member of The Order of the Arrow, scouting’s national honor society
