After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, she completed her dental training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, consistently ranked among the nation’s top programs. Dr. Schmitz is known for her gentle touch, clear communication, and dedication to patient comfort. She takes pride in helping each person feel confident about their dental care while building relationships that last. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Nicholas Funyak, their golden retriever, Lola, and their families.
