As a fourth-generation Bay City resident, Dr. Christina Humphries (“Dr. C”) is excited to be back in her hometown. As a former Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and Pharmacy Technician, she is grateful to return and serve the dental needs of Matagorda County and surrounding areas. Dr. C is a Top Five Graduate of Bay City High and a Polymathic Scholar at The University of Texas at Austin (B.S. Human Biology). She earned two post-graduate degrees: Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H.) at A. T. Still University and a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Dr. C is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, National Dental Practice-Based Research Network, Spear Faculty Club, CDOCS Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Ninth District Dental Society. She has dedicated herself to extensive continuing education in CAD/CAM, Laser, Clear Aligner Orthodontics, Cosmetic, Implant, and Special Needs dentistry. Community service has always been a part of Dr. C’s life. She has served as Junior Service League of Bay City Member, Matagorda County Museum Board Secretary, MEHOP Volunteer, St. Mark’s Episcopal Youth Group Leader, and Give Kids a Smile and Global Medical Mission Provider. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and playing guitar, live music, traveling, and yoga. She also loves to cheer on her favorite sports teams and spend time with her fur baby, Rocky.
