Born and raised in Lawrence, Dr. Daniel “DJ” Davis is proud to serve the same community that shaped his love for dentistry. From his earliest days at Sunflower Elementary through his college years at the University of Kansas, Dr. Davis has always considered Lawrence home. His interest in dentistry began in eighth grade, when he started working in local dental offices—experiences that solidified his desire to care for others through this profession. Dr. Davis earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he served as president of multiple student organizations and as the Class of 2025 Social Chair. Known for his upbeat personality and patient-focused care, Dr. Davis blends modern techniques with hometown values to create a welcoming experience for patients of all ages. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Davis enjoys reading, writing, and staying active—continuing the same drive for learning and personal growth that defines his work at Jayhawk Dental.
