Dr. Robert F. Morrison is the owner and founder of Morrison Dental Group, serving families since 1992. After completing his service with the U.S. Navy, he opened the practice with a mission to provide genuine and compassionate care for the families of the Hampton Roads region. Over the years, the practice has grown to incorporate advanced dental technologies while continuing to provide patient-focused care for individuals and families. Dr. Morrison earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Southern Illinois University in 1979, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1982 from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a post-doctoral residency in Comprehensive Dentistry and went on to serve as a dental officer ashore and afloat from 1982–1991, including as department head aboard the U.S.S. Guam and head of the Pediatric Department at Norfolk Naval Station. He is a member of the ADA, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Virginia Dental Association, Peninsula Dental Society, and the International College of Dentistry.
