John R. Mascaro earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. He graduated Magnum Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. He received the Alpha Omega Fraternity Award for the Highest Scholastic Standing at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a 5-star residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1994. During his residency, Dr. Mascaro earned his Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University. He also completed a one-year internship in General Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland. From here, Dr. Mascaro completed a one year Fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery affiliated with Case Western Reserve University in 1995. Dr. Mascaro practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Florida from 1995 thru 1998. Dr. Mascaro returned to Cleveland in 1998 and has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at his current location in Willoughby. Dr. Mascaro is on Staff at Lake Health Hospital Systems.
