Dentistry is a unique profession that allows me to partner with my patients in multiple ways. Not only do I have the opportunity to improve oral health, but also to promote overall health, wellbeing, and self-confidence. My goal is to provide optimal oral care, with an emphasis on meticulous maintenance. I grew up in northern Virginia and attended the University of Virginia. There, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. I continued on to New York University College of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. The following year, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Upon completion of my training, I cared for patients in private practice in Connecticut. Dentistry is an ever-changing profession, so commitment to continuing education is essential to providing the finest care for my patients. Annually I complete a range of continuing education courses encompassing a variety of aspects of dentistry. After five years in the Northeast, my husband and I have finally made our way back to our home state of Virginia. In addition to a new home, we also welcomed a new family member, our daughter Emma.
