After studying at New York University, Dr. Akbar completed her dental doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. She also underwent an AEGD residency, honing her skills in all aspects of dentistry with the main focuses being restorative, preventive, and cosmetic care. Today, she is a Certified Invisalign Provider and has completed advanced training in teaching/education as well. As the newest member of our dental family, Dr. Akbar brings a wealth of advanced training and skills to the Clear Coast Dental team. She is passionate about serving her community, providing important oral healthcare to those in need, and ensuring that patients feel genuinely comfortable throughout every appointment.
