Dr Paul Shadid, Jr.

Dr. Paul Shadid, Jr. was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He attended Heritage Hall High School and graduated in 2008. Dr. Shadid matriculated to the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. He was accepted into the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2012 and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016. In 2018, Dr. Shadid completed a comprehensive mini-residency course in current implant dentistry techniques from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. The year-long curriculum included the most up-to-date techniques regarding surgical and restorative implant procedures. Dr. Shadid takes pride in staying up to date with dental procedures and technology; completing hundreds of hours of Continuing Education. Dr. Shadid has been a career-long member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Oklahoma County Dental Society. He is currently serving on the Oklahoma County Dental Society Board of Directors and has for many years. Dr. Shadid has grown up around dentistry, with his father as his ultimate role model. The decision to make dentistry his profession was a lifelong dream, and a vision he has worked hard to achieve. He has a very strong passion not only for dentistry but the relationships forged within his career. Dentistry is an affiliation between the patient and the dentist, and Dr. Shadid works on building rapport with his patients creating mutual goals and outcomes. Dr. Shadid prides himself on this relationship and enjoys assisting patients in obtaining their optimum dental health aspirations. Family is very important to Dr. Shadid, and he spends much of his free time enjoying life with his wife Erika, and their two sons, Trip and Brooks. Dr. Shadid also enjoys sports and has often been called a sports fanatic. He enjoys watching OU football and basketball, Thunder basketball, and has even been known to make his way up to St. Louis to catch a Cardinal’s game. Dr. Shadid’s other interests include spending time at his church, volunteering at Oklahoma Mission of Mercy charitable dental clinic, and fishing.
