Born and raised in Peoria, Dr. John is thrilled to be serving the community in his hometown. He went to Bergan High School and attended Marquette University for his undergraduate degree. Dr. John received his doctorate degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1993 and has enjoyed practicing dentistry ever since. He is the former president of the Peoria District Dental Society, as well as a current member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association. He is also on the Central Illinois Orofacial Anomalies Team, a program affiliated with Easter Seals. He focuses on esthetic dentistry, oral rehabilitation cases, cleft palate, and cancer prosthetics. In his spare time, Dr. John likes to golf, play hockey, and run. He has two daughters, Dr. Kate Shadid and Dr. Allie Donlan and a Labrador Sophie.
