Dr. Rohner grew up with a father who served as a pediatric dentist. Encouraged to attend dental school, he never had any interest until he discovered halfway through his college career that he might actually be good at performing this type of work. With natural talent, he discovered the clinical skills that were required came easily, so he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2006. Moving to North Carolina, he attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of North Carolina. Becoming skilled in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, complex crown and bridge treatment, and other areas of dentistry, he continues to pursue additional training and courses to advance his skills and talents. He maintains membership in various professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and SPEAR Education.
