Dr Edward DeFabio

Dr. Edward DeFabio of DeFabio Dental Design is a “Jersey Boy.” He grew up in Short Hills, attended Newark Academy, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Middlebury College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. After finishing school, Dr. DeFabio opened the doors to his dental office in Monmouth County and has maintained this practice location ever since. His professional interests are esthetics, adhesion dentistry, minimally invasive microscopic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and endodontics. Dr. DeFabio was very active with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, serving on the Board of Directors from 1986-1994. He was a Founding Member and President of the New York Chapter of the AACD from 1988-1990. In 1987, Dr. DeFabio became the first accredited member from New Jersey of the AACD. He also served as National Program Chair for the organization in 1994. Dr. DeFabio is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Monmouth-Ocean Dental Society. He has completed extensive continuing education with the prestigious Pankey Institute, as well as with world-renowned dental pioneers Drs. Turbyfill, Feigenbaum, Kois, Spear, and Kim.
