Dr. Greg Allen, born in Harford County, Maryland, attended Salisbury University before returning to the Baltimore area to continue his education at The Johns Hopkins University. While at Hopkins he pursued a degree in biotechnology and did research in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases before attending the University Of Maryland School Of Dental Surgery. After completing his Doctoral of Dental Surgery at Maryland returned to Johns Hopkins to advance his education. He completed a general practice residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Allen and his wife Kimberly, with their two daughters Samantha and Sarah, returned to the shore in 2000. After completing his advanced training, Dr. Allen continued to move forward in his education. He attained fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists and the International College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Allen is also active in his profession by taking various leadership roles. He was president of the Eastern Shore Dental Society, trustee for the Eastern Shore Dental Society for many years, and continues at the Maryland state level as President of the Maryland State Dental Association. Recently, Dr. Allen served as the chair of the Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy. The real passion in Dr. Allen's life continues to be his faith and family. He has coached softball for over 10 years, continues to play a role in developing Medical Missions abroad, serving in mission fields in Central Africa and Central America.
