Dr. Amy Cao was born in China, and grew up in Toronto, Canada. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, double majored in Cell Biology and Pharmacology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at New York University, College of Dentistry. After graduation, she completed a year of general practice residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, where she treated patients of varies degrees of medical complexity, including oral cancer and trauma patients. She moved to the beautiful pacific northwest after living in NYC for 5 years. To her, being able to help the patients restoring their smiles is the most rewarding feeling in the world. With gentle hands, Dr. Cao is passionate with providing dental care to patients of all ages. She enjoys explaining the reasons behind each procedure with patients, because she believes achieving stable and healthy smiles requires “team” effort.
