Dr. David Anthony Forlano, a cherished addition to our practice, represents the next generation of our family's commitment to exceptional dentistry. His educational journey reflects his commitment to achieving excellence in dentistry. After graduating from Chaminade High School, where he was a distinguished member of the National Honor Society and an active participant in the crew team, Dr. David Forlano embarked on a remarkable academic path. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Fordham University, consistently earning a place on the Dean's List throughout his undergraduate years with leadership roles as a Student Resident Advisor and President of the Health Sciences Committee. He returns annually, by invitation, to speak at the Fordham University Healthcare Symposium. Dr. David A. then pursued his passion for dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. He completed the first two years with the same curriculum as medical school, then focused an additional two years on direct patient care where he honed his clinical skills and deepened his knowledge of oral healthcare. Subsequently, he dedicated yet an additional year providing dental care for United States veterans at the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center. The three years of direct patient care equipped him with invaluable experience in complex dental procedures, surgical procedures in the operating room, dental implants and prosthetics, general patient care, as well as the latest advancements in dental technology. Now, as a dedicated member of our family dental practice, Dr. David A. combines his comprehensive education and training to deliver top-tier dental care to our patients. His commitment to excellence, gentle chairside manner, and a keen understanding of the latest in dental advancements, make him a valuable addition to our team. Dr. David A. is not only a part of our dental family but also represents a legacy of dental professionals within his own family.
