Dr Mark Malterud

Dr. Mark Malterud DDS has been serving the Saint Paul, MN area as a general dentist for over 30 years. Dr. Malterud has a holistic dental philosophy; he believes in respecting the integrity of his patients' natural teeth as he improves their smiles. He is known around the Twin Cities for being a caring and thorough comprehensive dentist, capable of handling anything from general dentistry needs to intricate cosmetic work. Dr. Malterud is passionate about conservative, minimally invasive dentistry that preserves healthy teeth. Dr. Malterud received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota at Duluth. He then obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is committed to continuing his postgraduate education, and participates in over 250 hours of continuing dental education each year. He also instructs other dentists, nationally and internationally, on minimally invasive aesthetic restorations. He is member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Malterud is a Board Member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a founding member of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry. He is also a member of the World Congress of Minimal Invasive Dentistry and he consults with various dental manufacturers on their products to continually improve the quality of dental products available to his patients.
