Dr Amit Amin

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Dr. Amit Amin discovered his passion for dentistry early during a 10th-grade health sciences course that allowed him to shadow his family dentist. That hands-on experience opened his eyes to the life-changing impact of dental care and set him on a path toward becoming a specialist dedicated to restoring health and confidence. Dr. Amin earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing his dental degree and periodontal residency at the prestigious New York University. Following his training, he joined a successful private practice, where he spent four years refining his skills and managing patient care. In pursuit of new opportunities and a place to grow roots, Dr. Amin relocated to Houston with his family. Periodontics drew Dr. Amin in with its blend of precision, purpose, and patient transformation. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures designed to preserve natural teeth, improve gum health, and extend the lifespan of a patient’s smile. When preservation isn’t possible, Dr.Amin provides permanent solutions through advanced implant therapy, always aiming for long-term function and aesthetic excellence. Dr. Amin achieved board certification in periodontology, the highest honor possible in the field, in 2022. He remains an active member of the American Board of Periodontology and regularly attends national conferences to stay at the forefront of innovation. Committed to continuous learning, he has advanced training in specialized techniques such as the Pinhole Surgical Technique and LANAP laser therapy.
