Born and raised in the southwest area in Alief, Dr. Huynh is a Houstonian through and through. She graduated as the Valedictorian from Alief Taylor High School and realized her passion for health care through volunteering and shadowing. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. Her interest in dentistry was born through her natural talents in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), combined with her passion for creative arts. Upon realizing dentistry was her future, she committed to becoming active in pre-dental organizations and going abroad on dental missions trips. She graduated with high honors, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. During this time, she had extensive training in general and cosmetic dentistry. She is also certified in minimal conscious sedation with extensive experience managing dental anxiety in patients. Dr. Huynh sees dentistry as an intersection of health care and art – an ideology that fuels her passion for the profession.
