Dr John S. Roberson

Dr. John S. Roberson was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2017 with cum laude honors. He then went to the University of Alabama School of Dentistry at UAB and graduated in 2021 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). Following dental school, Dr. John completed a General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital. There he received advanced dental training in general dentistry, including the areas of oral surgery, implant placement, endodontics, anxiety reduction/sedation and management of patients with complex medical conditions. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Birmingham District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Desiring to further increase his education and training, he is currently working towards earning his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. John enjoys dentistry because he loves for his work to genuinely benefit people and values the everyday interaction he gets to have with his patients. He loves the opportunity to consistently learn and improve in both knowledge and skill as he grows in his profession. Dr. John recognizes dentistry is incredibly rewarding in that he gets to help restore health, function, and esthetics for a patient, and he always cares to make the patient feel at ease and motivated about their oral health. Beyond the dental office, Dr. John most enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dr. John also enjoys house projects, exercising, playing sports, watching movies, cooking, and anything Alabama sports.
