Dr William M. Vandervoort

Dr. William M. Vandervoort was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama. He completed his undergraduate studies with honors at The University of Alabama in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In 2014, he graduated from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He is affectionately known as Dr. Will to his patients. After dental school, Dr. Will completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at The Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, Alabama. Through the residency program, he received advanced training in IV sedation, oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, prosthodontics, endodontics, and restorative and preventive dentistry. Dr. Will is an active member of the American and Alabama Dental Associations, the Academy of General Dentistry, and Tuscaloosa Spear Dental Study Club, and was a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama Leadership Tuscaloosa 2016-2017 class. The best part about being a dentist for Dr. Will is the relationship aspect of working with both his patients and team members. He is a people person and enjoys the interaction. He also enjoys the life-changing aspect of dentistry when he gets to help restore patients to health. Dr. Will and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters, Virginia, Julia, and Elizabeth. When he's not caring for patients, he enjoys playing guitar, hunting, fishing, exercising, sports, and most anything outdoors.
