Dr. Higgins was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended the University of Kentucky, receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1999, and then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree in 2003. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Higgins served as an officer in the United States Air Force and received advanced training in general dentistry. There, he provided dental care to members of the US Air Force and constituents at Eglin AFB, and Hurlburt AFB, both located in Florida. Dr. Higgins received an honorable discharge from the Air Force after fulfilling his duty, and has been practicing dentistry in Florida since 2003. Dr. Higgins and his wife, Dr. White have two children. He enjoys spending time with their kids, traveling, Crossfit, and attending live music festivals.
